Ten years of Belltron presence in Spain and Latin America – Interview with Daniele Vallesi

Date: August 27, 2025

DIDIMO ELECTRONICS SL was officially born in July 2015, a point of reference for the exclusive distribution of Belltron products in Spain and throughout the Latin American world. Ten years later, the project born from the collaboration between Daniele Vallesi and Alessandro Libetti has consolidated itself into a solid and appreciated reality, capable of combining technological innovation and liturgical sensitivity.

To celebrate this important milestone, we met Daniele Vallesi, Belltron manager for Spain and Latin America, as well as co-founder of the Madrid office. With him we retraced the fundamental stages of this decade, between challenges faced, successes achieved and new horizons to explore.

  1. Daniele, DIDIMO ELECTRONICS SL was born ten years ago in Madrid. What were the initial expectations and how well were they met over time?

At first we knew it would be a slow journey: the market was closed and distrustful. We were focusing on quality and consistency, and today we see the outcome.

  1. How would you describe the evolution of the Belltron market in Spain and Latin America today? Were there any unexpected surprises or challenges?

Growth was gradual. The market opened up step by step, surprisingly receptive to solid and serious companies like Belltron.

  1. What were the fundamental stages of these ten years? Can you tell us about some symbolic or particularly significant moments?

The early years were key to gaining confidence. Installations in Mexico, Colombia and church fairs marked important milestones.

  1. Belltron is known for the quality and innovation of its liturgy products. What was the product or technology that had the most impact in the countries you follow?

In Spain, we focused on audio: amplifiers, speakers, microphones. They were well received, solving real problems and finding more and more space.

  1. One of the key elements of your success is closeness to the customer. How have you built and maintained strong relationships with local ecclesiastical communities?

Be present, always respond, even in small details. This, combined with positive word of mouth, has built lasting and sincere relationships.

  1. Your international engineering experience has certainly helped you. How has your background affected the management and expansion of the Belltron project in the Latin world?

My background helped me combine technical precision and relational skills. Fundamental to adapt to the different realities of the Latin American world.

  1. Speaking of Latin America: what are the main differences, if any, between the Iberian and Latin American markets?

In Latin America, there are more export-related difficulties, but we work with some local distributors who help us manage the market. Much more needs to be done, but the potential is great.

  1. How has the perception of the Belltron brand changed in these ten years in the territories under your jurisdiction?

We weren't completely unknown, but Belltron was seen above all as “that of the bells”. They now also recognize us as providers of high-quality audio solutions.

  1. Finally, looking to the future: what are the next goals or dreams you would like to achieve with Belltron in the next ten years?

Continue to grow without haste but with solidity. I would like to strengthen the local network and expand the range of solutions for a living and cared for liturgy.
