Belltron in Mexico
Date: April 07, 2014
Xico (Veracruz), Mexico is a beautiful magical pueblo that knows how to make itself loved with its magnificent homes and churches, its flowers and fruit trees, but also with its green mountains and its fragrant coffee plantations.
The Belltron linear motors, top Italian quality products at the service of the church, were installed to give rhythm to the sky above the convent. The manager, Mr. Giuseppe Libetti and the bell installer Mr. Luigi Russo, personally committed themselves to carry out this project, which had already had seen them involved in a first inspection trip in year 2013. Three Italian manufactured cast bells were mounted externally along with three Belltron linear motors and hammers.
Within a heavily vegetated area you can find the neo monastic structure of the Benedictine nuns, namely, the convent of San Juan Bautista. The work was done by a construction company belonging to Mr. Loreto Nicoletti, managing director of the company who has been repeatedly engaged in the construction and restoration of church structures in Italy and abroad.
The convent of San Juan Bautista will officially have the bells play for the first time on the opening day scheduled for the 24th June. Following is a brief video demonstration of the work:
